As my practice evolved, I found myself delving into the art of recapturing moments from my past and exploring the desires of my childhood. One memory that stood out vividly was my insatiable want for a pink three-tiered cake for my fifth birthday, complete with a lush garden adorned with strawberry bushes. The thought of this beautiful scene filled my mind with excitement and wonder once again. Now, armed with the delicate medium of enamel, I saw an opportunity to not only recreate this memory but also to reframe and reimagine my desires through my craft.
